Dry Residue

The Dry Residue, indicated in milligrams per litre, that is obtained in the laboratory by evaporating the water at a temperature of 180°C, corresponds to the total quantity of salts in the water. Mineral water is defined as slightly mineralized (if the Dry Residue is under 50 mg/L), low in minerals (if the Dry Residue is between 50 and 500 mg/L), rich in mineral salts (if the Dry Residue is above 1500 mg/L).

Paradiso Mineral Water is low in minerals (oligominerale deriving from the Greek word oligos meaning little), light, very diuretic, suitable for all but above all to those who suffer from hypertension and digestive disorders.

It is interesting to note that its Dry Residue makes it low in minerals, as it is neither too poor of mineral salts (distilled water, with very modest nutritive value), nor too rich in mineral salts (to high in mineral salts are not recommended for diets and this type of water must only be consumed under strict medical control).
